In brief
- The developer, Aleksei Bukhalov, collects nothing, and the app sends nothing.
- Drawmark has no account and no network code.
- There are no analytics, no ads and no tracking.
- iCloud and HealthKit sync were left out on purpose.
- Data leaves the iPhone only in a file you create and send yourself.
1. Kept on the iPhone
Drawmark keeps your log in its own storage on the iPhone. The log contains compounds and their units; vials and what is in them; doses, with time, amount, injection site, vial, protocol and your notes or side effects; protocols and their reminders; injection sites; lab readings with the reference ranges you typed from your own results; and your settings. It contains no name, email address or account. Drawmark keeps what you enter until you delete it: nothing expires and nothing is archived elsewhere, and removing the app takes the whole log with it.
There is no iCloud or HealthKit sync. Your log stays in the app on the iPhone.
2. Shared with the Drawmark widget
The storage is shared only with Drawmark's own widget, through an App Group, so the widget can show the next dose and log it when you tap. A widget shows the compound name you typed, and on the Lock Screen anyone who sees the phone can read it.
3. Sent out by you
Data leaves Drawmark only in a file you create and send yourself.

These files are not encrypted, and once they leave the app it has no control over them. The developer receives no copy.
4. Handled by iOS and Apple
- Notifications. Drawmark asks for permission only when you turn reminders on. If you refuse, the protocol editor tells you so. Notification text uses the names you typed.
- Face ID. Used only to open the app while the lock is on. iOS runs the check and Drawmark learns only whether it passed; no face data or passcode reaches the app. If the iPhone later has no passcode, Drawmark turns the lock off rather than locking you out.
- Device backups. Depending on your own iOS settings, an iCloud Backup or a computer backup of the whole iPhone can include Drawmark's data.
- Keyboards and dictation. These follow your device settings.
- Purchases. Apple handles payment and refunds. Your card and Apple Account details never reach the developer.
5. Not collected
Drawmark collects no name, email address, device identifier, usage data or advertising data. Nothing is sold or passed to anyone, because nothing reaches the developer at all.
6. Your rights
The developer holds no data about you, so your rights are exercised in the app itself: view or correct a record, delete it, export or back up your log, or delete the app to erase everything it stored. There is no other copy to ask for.
European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland
The developer never receives personal data through Drawmark. What you type, including health information, is processed only on your own iPhone and under your control, so under the GDPR and the UK GDPR there is no developer-held copy, no lawful basis to declare, no processor and no international transfer. Access, rectification, erasure and portability are exercised in the app itself, as set out above. You may still write to alex@bukhalov.com or complain to your data protection authority.
California
Drawmark does not collect personal information or sensitive personal information within the meaning of the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA. Nothing is sold or shared for cross-context behavioural advertising, and asking about your rights never changes how you are treated. Because the developer holds no copy of your log, there is nothing to disclose, correct or delete on request; you do all of that in the app.
Age
Drawmark is for adults aged 18 or over and is not aimed at children.

An updated policy gets a new in-force date on this page, and the copy inside the app is replaced in the app update that carries it.
